My name really is Margot. I am working on becoming a full time yoga instructor; I am still a certified Kindergarten-5th grade Public School teacher with fourteen years of experience, who has done post-grad study in school psychology, but I have issues with the public school system and the implementation of psychological services. I have practiced yoga for the past seven years. It has brought me through some really rough personal times, and I have wanted to switch career paths since I started doing yoga. I teach yoga part time at a gym close to home. And, I am attending a Yoga Alliance certification course at Asheville Yoga Center. This course is for one weekend over the next eight months (It started last month)The purpose of this journal is to track my daily practice/progress in yoga and meditation, to pose questions and answers, and to get feedback over the course of the next nine months. Although,the motivation for this journal is because it is an assignment toward certification, I am hoping to gain a daily practice and regimen to deepen my practice, my spirituality, my enlightenment, so that I can take that away from my yoga mat and share the love!

I am a member of the SCA(Society for Creative Anachronism), participating through the Barony of Hawkwood, in Asheville North Carolina. We recreate the medeival period, Lastly, for now, I am a professionally and classically trained singer/musician.
